My MOT guy told me about a visit he had from VOSA (?) after a car he had tested for a dealer was a month later involved in an accident with the new owner. To cut a long story short, it eventually transpired that the dealer had fitted new brake or suspension components (can't remember exactly what) for the MOT and later put the old parts back on before he sold it.
I can't imagine why on earth a dealer would do that but the MOT tester is a pal who I've known for 25 years and a very honest and genuine guy.
Thank you for your support...
