When I arrived at the MoT station with my Ariel Arrow a couple of months ago I'd picked up a nail in the back tyre which was therefore flat (I had thought the handling a bit odd). The bike passed the MoT but was clearly not roadworthy in any sense.

The official testing manual makes no mention of pressure, which is a bit odd in my opinion.
