Just found this old picture taken in 1987 at Brands Hatch. Me and three others not smiling but looking very glum in a very wet paddock. If you notice my Ducati has no fairing, that's because I had already fallen off in the first race and wrecked it so had to put a temporary number plate on the front to go out in the second race which I was having second thoughts about as number one crash did hurt and I was still suffering. Did manage to win the next one and stay on so not such a bad day after all. Happy Daze.

The black and red leathers that I am wearing I still have, but they seemed to have shrunk!

The oldest rocker in town!
