Brian Pattern, a contemporary of Roger McGough and Adrian Henri during the "Liverpool Scene" days of the 1960s, has recently released a new volume of short poems titled The Book of Upside Down Thinking. Here's one of the works contained therein:
"When I broke the mirror I bought a new one,
I didnít like what I saw,
So I took it back to the shop and asked for one
Like the one Iíd bought some years before."
