Having only ever achieved an intermittent spark from the flywheel magneto, I've decided to rig up a battery/coil/condenser system; through the existing points. I know this works reliably from a temporary lash up. The question is this.
Do I take the remainder of the bike's electrics directly off the generator 6v ac and parallel this to the battery system for the ignition only? Or do I connect it all through the battery dc voltage? The latter would probably "exercise" the charging system a bit better.
Just pissing about. I like that.
