Chum of mine had one. He's a IAM National Observer and was following an associate at about 40 mph on an OR. Dry roads, he braked normally and the bike stood on its front wheel and spat him off into a ditch. After the ECU went to the KTM mothership for examination, no faults were found.
Once it was repaired - which took several months waiting for unavailable parts - he sold it and bought a Multistrada instead.
Mind you, he's know for having bad luck with bikes. The first Multistrada he had, had keyless ignition. That bike would start itself! That had the ECU back at Bologna but I don't believe they ever found the problem.
