I have LED in my 16H. The light colour is obviously too white to be a bulb. The bulb design is such that the top emitter only employs the top half of the reflector, and the bottom uses the bottom half. I had to re-focus by sliding it back and fore within the bulb holder (which I suppose I should do anyway with normal bulbs in an old lamp).
Beam patterns do exist but aren't very good. Dip beam isn't bad, but main beam is more or less a floodlight. Maybe I could do better with more care focusing. That seems to me to be the key.
