Wow what a great weekend at the three day CRMCC Donnington classic festival. I had two rides each day in blistering hot conditions. The weekend had some great racing but everyone including spectators were suffering a bit. I have never had to be helped or help other riders to get leathers off. The weekend also gave me a chance to ride my second Honda that due to some carb and ignition problems I haven't been able to ride. Took it out on the Saturday and it run very nice so I now have two working race bikes.
My home for four days and three nights.
The two Hondas together.
This was me at Redgate on my test first ride on the number two Honda. Had to take it a bit easy on the first couple of laps as had to bed in the new Bridgestone tyres.
Bit knackered today. Not sure if it was the heat or just old age. Roll on September when we are at Mallory, one of my favourite circuits.
The oldest rocker in town!
