Love the corrugated iron architecture, loads of it on the farm where I live, but also in Scotland - along with buildings made from railway sleepers. Got an interesting booklet on that one.
On building work, we are currently having wall insulation installed internally to our 'external' walls. The 'estate' on which we are tennants, are paying through an extended government scheme where the older solid walled housing does not meet the minimum Energy Performance Cretification (ours is F in a range from A to G), and whilst some of the crew are Polish, we have a Welsh team based in Swansea. Polite, prompt, tidy, and doing a brilliant job so far.
Such has not been the case with another tenancy on the same estate where Poles are, or have been at work. Not a criticism of the Polish, but sadly those who were sent to work there could not speak English, and have made the job last for months without finishing.
WW11 Planes - yes, get a few over now and then. Usually when an air show is on at Weston Park.
