Posted by mark gidlow on 21/8/2005, 9:25 pm, in reply to "Match Stats " SCORELINE 2-2 , Brigg scoring from a free kick after2 mins , pretty competetive first half with little between the sides , Tony Evans looking a threat up front maybe just givving Clitheroe the edge.Midway through first half , big centre forward Wolstenholme , scored followed by a sensational goal from Evans giving us a 2-1 lead.We started ok in the second half , and had a couple of half chances , falling to sargeson and stansfield.Tommy put three subs on parr , jackson and white .Brigg took control , towards the end of the game and scored a late equaliser.We had what looked a definite penalty turned down.Some real highlights , with patches of mediocrity saw a solid start , with better to come .Brigg only missed the play offs by 5 points last year , we certainly made them work much harder for the point than previously.We had three 18 yr olds playing who played well , and will improve game by game ..as for the second goal ..we,l take one like that every game.

Fair point , and we are trying to improve communication throughout the club ..the website being a vital part of that process..im not sure who does that , but here,s my simple summarry of yesterday and the result.
