We were advised this was an unusual request as they didnt normally change Kick offs for England games. They did however say they would check with their manager. Time went by and as Bishop hadnt heard from them we assumed it would be 3 oclock kick off and advised the players/manager of this and our manager/ players made the arrangements for work/home. So no we werent short sighted as we were the ones that originally wanted an early kick off and had it been confirmed earlier we would have agreed. Its just one of those things.

I have spoken to the match secretary and this is what happened.
Clitheroe then came back to us very close to the deadline and said they would change and the match secreatary said she would discuss this with our manager. The manager came back and said as some players had already arranged work and home around setting off at 11am from the north east it was decided to leave things as they were at 3pm kick off.
I'm not having a go at anyone just clarifying exactly what happened
