My friend will be undergoing chemotherapy for six months and has lost her hair. Her biggest concern are the chemo caps that were given to her at the hospital. She states that they are so hot and itchy. I was thinking of crocheting one for her in cotton. Would anyone have any suggestions for a pattern I could use that will to with Bernat handicrafter cotton. Does this shrink? (4.5mm or US8 hook) I also have a thinner cotton I can use that takes a 3.75 hook (not sure of the name)...would anyone have a chemo cap pattern I could use for either of these please? Kind of new to crocheting so don't how to change patterns to different types of yarn sizes.
