Hi everyone. I am a newb to crochet, and have a ton of questions. I have read several books, but still feel like I'm not sure of things.
My main question is this:
When you start with a chain, then turn your work you go through 1 loop on the chain. Then after you finish that row and go back through (you would be on your 3rd total row counting the chain) you are now going through 2 loops on the. This makes the first 2 rows of your project skinny, and then it gets fatter and stiffer. So, I figure I'm doing something wrong, but I watched videos and read the books, and I am doing it the way "I perceive it". So, basically, is this the correct way? I am working with single crochet.
Thanks.
