Madelaine has done a great job putting all those recipies on the WEB for free access, by anyone. So, hopefully, Maurtius lives in the kitchens of the world! In the past I have suggested to MP that she publishes the recipes as a book; she has responde by saying that this is on the way. How far it has come, I do not know. All we have is on the one hand an altruistic gesture by MP and on the other others who have set up Mauritian restaurants across the world to exploit its potential. I would be happy to see MP get some financial rewards for her vision and the efforts that went behind it.

The trouble with 'OF THE YEAR' titles is this:
1. someone is elected from a list of nominations, otherwise the title is meaningless.
2. someone else needs to be elected next year from another list of nominations.
