Maybee this is what you are looking for:
Cari Dholl (Yellow Split Peas Curry)look at Madeleines recipes under: Curries.
The tomato salsa could be Tomato Chutney (Chatini Pomme D'Amour)look under: Condiments, Sauces, Chutneys & Pickles.

You can use the dholl puree instat of bread and you can make any curries that you like (if you like to eat with your fingers).
