Hi Madeleine, thx loads for the recipes. As students abroad, we miss mauritian food, so we try to cook anything from basic curries to those dishes requiring longer preparation time e.g biryani. The ingredients list are really helpful, coz I think the right mixture & proportion of spices is what will make the dish tastes like mauritian food.
I went through your gateau la cire preparation: I think there's something about orange missing. Gateau la cire parfois gagne gout orange non? Then would you use orange juice, orange peel or orange essence for that particular taste?
