I was wondering if anyone had the recipe for the (sweet/sour) vinegar type liquid which I used to love putting on my fried rice (in Mauritius)..

Used to get the fried rice from the 'Tropicana' in Curepipe.. and they used to supply with it a kind of sweet vinegar in a bottle.. never found anything close to it.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
