I have had on several occasions a "hot and sour, sweet and salty" salad from Mauritius from a friend named Madhvi. I cannot remember the precise ingredients/measurements, but would LOVE to have it once again as I have lost contact with my Mauritian friend. The salad was served cold with mango, cucumber, onion, chili, sugar, vinegar, etc. As I recall one mulled kosher salt with the chili, added it to vinegar and sugar and poured it over the other ingredients. Can anyone PLEASE send me the precise ingredients/measurements for this delightful TREAT???? Thanks
