Using a glass baking dish for your stickier meals i.e. mac & cheese, scalloped potatoes makes clean up easier. A 16oz quart pot with a lid is the perfect for stocks and soup. If you can't find pumpkin spice make your own, 2 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg, 1/4 teaspoon ginger and 1/4 cloves.
Keep peeled potatoes in cold water till you are ready to grate them and use cold utensils, this will keep your potatoes from turning brown.
To whip cream faster add 6 - 8 drops of lemon juice to 2 cups cream.
