Just had an E mail to say the 11/8/2007 date at Chepstow Racecourse has been cancelled. Guess the rain has not helped. Check out 100% this information as I would hate to screw up somebodys plans.
August 11th 1979, well I was at Knebworth. I was 19 years of age. On Fri 10th I went to get my tent out of the shed and found it had rotted after about 10 years of no use so it was a sleep in the transit van with a full crew of locals who had been up the week before.My first outdoor festival, no organised bus trips in them days. £4 a T shirt was expensive at the time but the quality has proved it over the years - I still have both of them only one fits as it was way to big at the time. I don't know quite what happened at Knebworth but Zeppelin made a big impression on me also loved the Todd Rundgren set. Ah well life could have been so different if I had got into some one hit wonder. Today I still watch the 11/8/79 DVD with as much excitement as when I first got hold of a copy. Perhaps another 2 years of listening to Zeppelin and I'll wrap it up and invest in Tom Jones & Catherine Jenkins.
