Posted by deborah Thank you for making us so welcome in Scotland, we really did have a fantastic time and I'm hoping to be back in the Summer! Drummonds is always lovely to play, run by such lovely people and as for the Bein Inn, well I could just live there....probably will in the Summer!! Thank you to everyone who came to the Tsunami show also in Bognor, we raised about £7,000 I believe, so I'd like to thank all of the bands that participated - everyone was wonderful and all had an incredible attitude - nothing was too much trouble - just getting up the next day!! I'm very fortunate to have had the wonderful Ann Peebles contact me from Memphis after seeing the Marriott Memorial DVD where I performed her song "I Can't Stand The Rain". Ann has been a great influence to me, in fact Robert P turned me on to her music many years ago when I first began to sing. She loved my version so much, she's coming over and where going to record the song as a duet for a single to be released in May! Can't wait!! But ALSO.... we are going to perform together at the Borderline in London on Tuesday 26th April. That's going to like a dream come true... I'm going to open up with songs from The Old Hyde, then Ann will perform some of her classics together with new material, then we will finish together with Cant Stand the Rain and a few others...!! If you can come along I really think it's going to be an absolutely fantastic show. So, love to all and hopefully see some of you at the Borderline.
