Daily Times: Millennium Upland Roundup - Dolan's rallies to take Millennium Upland Rec crown
Upland Park --- They aren't the Boston Red Sox, but the softball players representing Dolan's Bar pulled off an improbable comeback of their own Tuesday night.
Trailing 2-0 in their best-of-five Millennium Upland Rec League championship series, Dolan's took down Seamus Mulligan's Pub, 4-2, to clinch the league title in a deciding game that was dominated by solid defense from both sides.
Tony Catone, Shawn Henry, Rocco Pace and Joey Pace each contributed an RBI to the win. And Bob Pace got things started with a double to open a two-run fourth inning for Dolan's, which led the final game of the series from start to finish.
Frank Smith Jr. threw a two-hitter to earn the win on the mound and keep Dolan's season going a little while longer.
