When I posted the 2008 Charity Challenge Home Run Derby last night, I didn't realize that Carlos Lee of the Houston Astros was on the 15-day DL and might be out for the season.
Rob DiGregorio, who owns the Drexel House Deli, happened to draw this player for the Derby that begins this afternoon.
He will now be replaced by the New York Yankees Jason Giambi, who is the next highest Home Run Leader on MLB.com as of today and who wasn't on the original list from August 22nd.
Everyone seems to have their favorite hoagie shop in Delco, but in my area, it's hands down the Drexel House Deli in Drexel Hill, which could be attested by the Charity Challenge Championship officials and umpires who were provided free hoagies from the Deli last week at the tournament.
