2009 Millennium/Bats Plus Early Bird Tournament
Tournament Rules and Regulations
1) All ASA rules apply (including ASA bat restrictions) except for the following.
2) The ASA Stealing Rule will NOT be used in this tournament.
3) Batter starts with a one-one count (no extra foul).
4) May start with 8 players, go up to 9 or 10, but never down unless due to injury.
5) May use 2 courtesy runners per game. Courtesy runner must be last recorded out.
6) Teams may bat 12 players in their line-up and the ASA Extra Player Rule will apply.
7) Tie-breakers are as follows: (1.) Head to head competition, (2.) Fewest runs allowed, (3.) Most runs scored, (4.) Coin Toss.
8) (1) new ASA .44 COR, 375 lbs Compression Softball will be supplied for each game. Each team will be required to supply any additional balls needed for each game. The balls MUST be ASA .44 COR, 375 lbs Compression.
9) The home team must keep score and will be the official book.
10) Run Ahead Rule: 20 after three innings, 15 after four innings, and 10 after five innings.
11) Any team that wins a game by forfeit will be credited with the score of 10-0.
12) The tournament director may change the tournament format due to weather conditions.
13) No drinking on ANY field, (automatic team ejection).
14) Clean up your trash.
15) Report scores at the end of the game to tournament official.
16) Report to your game at the scheduled time, NO EXCEPTIONS.
17) Only allowed to play for ONE team during the entire tournament.
