Not to b###h or anything but the fields at camp upland seem to be really bad this year, this is my 3rd year playing on these fields and to me and i know alot of my players were complaining too they are worse then ever, fields D and E are the fields we played on im not sure about the others. Im not blaming this on anyone,im not even sure who takes care of these fields or if anyone does, im just wondering if there is anything we can do to make the fields safer. My major problems with these fields are:
1. around home plate should be level, batters are standing on a hill while batting and sliding into home plate is dangerous
2. the infields are to small and need new dirt put down. Im not sure if new dirt is ever put down before the season but i think if we put dirt down before the season and took care of it atleast once a week it could make a real difference. Right now the infields have a puddles on them 2 days after it rains or if it is nice for a few days it is like sliding on sand paper
Not that any of the other fields in delco are perfect or anything it is just kinda frustrating to see all that land up there and not be able to make a couple nice fields there. Just seeing if anyone has any ideas to make these fields better.
