Early registration returns of ASA of PA teams in District 6 are now starting to come in from Deputy Commissioners and once again the District is being projected to have another record-breaking year with adult team registrations.
The ASA of PA District 6 has grown faster and had more adult team registrations than any other district in Pennsylvania over the last three years.
In all, nearly 200 new adult teams have joined the ASA of PA in District 6 over that time span.
Also, in 2008, the District registered more new umpires than any other District in the state.
The continued growth in the adult program can be credited to the District 6 Deputy Commissioners, who have done a tremendous job, in part, by attending league meetings, helping leagues to recruit new teams, and explaining the benefits of playing in the ASA of PA.
The corp of Player Reps in the District have been very instrumental in helping us reach so many of our goals.
Thanks to the entire District 6 Staff who continue to do a terrific job every year.
