2009 Millennium Sunday Softball League "A", "B", "C", "D" & "Rec" Divisions playoff format and tiebreaker procedures.
1. Playoff Format:
The Millennium Sunday Softball League will have a minimum 34 out of 50 teams qualify for the playoffs.
All playoff series will be played as a Best-of-3 on the same Sunday.
The teams with the best records for that series will be the home team and have choice of field selection.
Note: In all Best-of-3 playoff series the highest seeded team must be the home team in Game 1 and Game 3 (if necessary).

2. Playoff Teams - Millennium "A" Division
At the end of the regular season, all ten teams in the division will qualify for the playoffs and will use the following tiebreaker(s) for playoff seeding in the division.
Note: Teams seeded #1 through #4 will compete for the "Gold Flight" Championship.
Teams seeded #5 through #10 will compete for the "Silver Flight" Championship.

a. Their won-loss record
b. Their won-loss record vs. each other
c. Their won-loss record vs. teams in the "Gold Flight"
d. Teams with the highest run differential in games played vs. each other
e. Coin Toss

3. Playoff Teams - Millennium "B", "C", "D" & "Rec" Divisions
At the end of the regular season the top six teams in the division will qualify for the playoffs with the division winner and runner-up receiving a bye in the first round, and will use the following tiebreaker(s) for playoff seeding in the division.
Note: Any team that finishes the regular season with a .500 record or better is guaranteed to make the playoffs.
Examples of seeding if more than six teams advance to the playoffs:
7 Teams - Division Winner receives a bye in the First Round of playoffs
8 Teams - All teams will participate in the First Round of playoffs
