Richie, Hey, I just wanted to take this time to tell you how sorry I am to hear about Sara. I still remember the first time I actually hung out with both of you. It was at one of the Champs n Charity tournaments a few years ago when the Brown Jug actually won a game or two and we had a break and went into the FOP and you and Sara were there and I was with about 5 of my knuckleheads and you guys teated us like family and I'll never forget it. You and Sara were like Abbot and Costello and had us cracking up, but your sincerity that day won me and the other guys over ten-fold. Plus, gave us a hell of a hangover the next day. You have always been good to me and asked me to play when your team was short guys and I appreciated it every time, because your guys were good people. And the peopel up in Drifton still get a kick out of your team as they wanted to sleep in the parking lot last year. They told me to tell you that there may be some bear lurking around at night and your response was classic, "those bear want nothing to do with us". Hell, you may have made the Drifton Hall of Fame with that statement alone.
I hope and pray Sara will be OK and that you have the strength to help her through this. I found out a close friend of mine from Norristown (Mike Corliss) has the same thing, he just found out a couple days ago and it hit me like a ton of bricks and then I hear this about your beautiful wife having the same thing.
Please, if you may, enter my team in this event and call is Dr Foley's (yes, I may have to bring that nut down to Delco again, hide the women and children, lol). But, please stay strong and if I can do anything, please ask. They say humor is the best medicine and you know me and the Norristown clowns, nobody entertains like we do.
Seriously, I will be thinking about both of you and will see you soon. - Sincerely, Steve Dimitry
