The Millennium Sunday, Millennium Furey Men's & Millennium Furey Coed Fall Softball Leagues are now open for teams to register for the upcoming season.
The leagues have exploded over the last couple of weeks with new teams who have called or e-mailed me to register for ASA Millennium Fall Ball.
Because I have promised myself and my family that when I turn 56 later this month it will be time to cut back on running some of the Millennium Leagues, I will start with the Fall Leagues this year, so I can enjoy more time at the shore and get some new business projects off the ground.
In the coming weeks I will continue to organize all of the Millennium Fall Softball Leagues mentioned above and then will be turning over the reins to the new commissioners (who will be announced shortly) of Millennium Furey Fall Men's and Millennium Furey Fall Coed Softball Leagues.
Being the commissioner of the 6 Millennium Leagues has been a pleasure, especially over the last few years when the ASA of PA District 6 achieved #1 status in Pennsylvania for the 3rd consecutive year with new adult team registrations and is poised to do so once again this year.
Looking forward, District 6, which now has the most experienced and qualified staff ever assembled is set on enhancing its position as a leader in ASA of PA softball.
