Daily Times: Millennium Upland "Competitive" Division Championship Series results from Tuesday, August 4th
Furey Road Field #1 --- Scott Showalter, Jim Broadbelt and Tom Stearns had three hits to lead Prospect Park Methodist to a 6-2 win over Barnaby's of Aston Storm in the opener of the best-of-5 championship series.
That done, the Storm used the sharp pitching of Joe Battaglini to cruise to a 4-0 victory. Battaglini had two hits and two RBIs in the nightcap, while Andrew Connor and Mike Moran had a pair each.
However many more games it takes to decide the series will be played Thursday night at Furey Road.
