Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Championship Series Roundup - Waldie's flyball is a winner
T.J. Waldie hit the game-winning sacrifice fly in Game 3, and Milmont Republican Club defeated Wharf Tavern, 7-6, to clinch the Millennium C Division championship.
Bill Cawley and Herb Davis each rapped three hits, including one each for extra bases, and knocked in four runs combined in Game 3.
Wharf Tavern pushed the series to the deciding game after an 11-7 win in Game 2.
Milmont Republican took a 1-0 series lead with an 8-5 win in Game 1. Davis and Brad Diamond knocked in a pair of runs each, and Brandon Pettit had a three-hit game.
Joe Driscoll pitched in all three games, winning Games 1 and 3.

In D Division Championship action:
The Thirsty Bulldog 10-8, A.M. Heating and AC 5-6: Eric Price's game-winning double clinched the championship for The Thirsty Bulldog.
Nick Litwinetz and Rich Cropper combined for five hits, five runs and five RBIs in Game 2.
Brandon Boyd broke open a close Game 1 with a run-scoring single in the sixth inning.
Litwinetz and Cropper went 4-for-4 and 3-for-3, respectively.
Cropper picked up both wins.

In Rec Division championship action:
Philly Express 8-14, Columbo Lodge 4-3: Matt Lowry smashed a home run and knocked in three runs, and Tyler Lidstone and Andrew Cartularo combined for six hits, four RBIs and two doubles in Philly Express' Game 2 championship-clinching win.
In the Game 1 victory, Lidstone and Ted Leonard each legged out triples and knocked in runs.
Rob Worell got the win in both games, and Philly Express finished the season 19-3 and 4-0 in the playoffs.
