Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Championship Series Roundup
Bryan Allen's game-winning single in the bottom of the seventh inning gave A. Marinelli & Sons Building Supply a 7-6 victory in Game 1, and John Bucci shut down Campbell's Boathouse, 3-0, in Game 2 to secure the Millennium "B" Division championship.
Phil Kelly and Jose Colon combined for six hits in Game 1, and Steve Tallon and Casey Snyder each had two hits in two at-bats in Game 2.

In Millennium "A" Division "Silver Flight" action:
J.D. McGillicuddy's 12-9-13, Progress Marine 1-11-14: Progress Marine rallied to win Games 2 and 3 of the best-of-three Millennium "A" Division "Silver Flight" championship. No other details were reported.

In Millennium "A" Division "Gold Flight" action:
Upland A.C. Young Guns 12-5-9, Dan Doubet Jewelers 7-11-5: Frank Smith hit a homer and Steven Smith and Mark Atkins each went 2-for-3 in Upland A.C. Young Guns 9-5 Game 3 victory over Dan Doubet Jewelers in the Millennium "A" Division "Gold Flight" championship. It is the Young Guns fifth title in eight years.
The Young Guns got off to a 1-0 lead in the best-of-three series with a 12-7 win in Game 1. Ron Billick had four hits in four at-bats with three RBIs and Larry McFadden ripped a double and single that knocked in three runs.
Steve LeViere was the winning pitcher in Game 1, while going 2-for-3 at the plate. LeViere was also toeing the rubber in the deciding Game 3 win of the championship series.
Dan Doubet Jewelers won Game 2 behind Chris Aron's home run and Jon Fanelli's pitching.
