Hello, all. The 7th Annual Danny Curran Memorial Coed Softball Tournament will be played on Saturday, October 3 at Camp Upland fields.
As usual, there will be a competitive and a recreational bracket; down the middle coed rules will be played; as many women as men on the field and in the lineup. This will be an ASA sanctioned tourney. Will be double elimination; we are looking for around 16 teams max. Will also be bat restrictions; if you played last year, it will be the same; I have a list of legal bats. First responding to me, first IN the tourney. So, if you have a team or want to play individually or even just help out, PLEASE get a hold of Mike McGrath asap at cell 610-724-4582 or thru an email to the above listed address. We are also looking for raffle prizes (small or large value) and ANY help at all that you can offer. All of the days proceeds will go the Danny Curran Scholarship Funds at both Springfield High and Widener University. You can read about Danny and also the Scholarship Funds at www.dannycurran.net.
