The 7th Annual Danny Curran Memorial Coed Softball Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at Camp Upland.
The rain date is Saturday, October 10th.
The tournament will be ASA sanctioned and use ASA umpires.
Entry fee is $200 IF you are an ASA sanctioned COED team; $225 if you are not.
Please make checks payable to the Danny Curran Scholarship Fund.
The double elimination tournament can only accept a maximum of 16 teams and will have both competitive and recreational divisions.
If any individual players would like to play, we will find a team for you.
Also looking for raffle prizes; nothing is too small. Any way you can help will be appreciated... Please let me know asap and thanks.
Down the middle coed rules; as many women on the field and in the lineup as men.
Trump 12" and 11" softballs will be used.
Bat restrictions WILL be in effect for the tournament; we are using the legal bat list provided on the Chester County Coed Softball League website - http://www.cccesl.com/bats.asp?id=32&pid=18. Any questions on a particular bat, please ask me.
There will be food, soft drinks and t-shirts sold during the tournament.
Get together after championship games will be at Nicky Bigs in Springfield.

In October 2001, Danny and his brother Cavan left on a cross-country adventure to explore the USA. Danny went hiking in the Three Sister Wilderness Area on Broken Top Mountain in Oregon and never returned. Hikers discovered Danny's remains on July 26, 2002.
