The Delco East Modified Softball League is looking for new teams for the 2010 season. The league plays the "hitter friendly" 10 man version of modified and strictly enforces the 10 man pitching rule (most of the modified pitching you see in the Daily Times Tournament is 9 man or "slingshot" pitching). 10 man modified is not too difficult an adjustment for good slo pitch players and teams.
The Delco East league holds early and late games Monday thru Wednesday evenings at the 69th St recreation complex in Upper Darby. New teams are welcome to secure permits for a home field on which they would play half of their games.
In addition to looking for teams, we are also hoping to find individual players to join with a small group of players looking to form their own team.
