Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Roundup - Cubler Curry kick off Millennium Season in big way
The Millennium Sunday Softball League opened its 15th season Sunday with a B Division doubleheader.
Mike Cubler went 6-for-8 in the twin bill and Matt Curry had five hits as J.D. McGillicuddy's Drexel Hill swept Johnny B's Place by scores of 16-6 and 20-17.
Bob "Cheekers" Dinnella and Chuck Grimm were the winning pitchers.
The rest of the Sunday League season kicks off on April 15 as a record 62 teams will be in action.
