Daily Times: Millennium Furey Roundup - Akley's power surge sparks a sweep
Furey Road Field #1 --- Paul Akley supplied the power for Key's Tippling House in a Millennium Furey Softball League doubleheader sweep of Cocco's Pizzeria & Pub Aston Friday evening.
Akley was 3-for-3 with a pair of long balls in a 15-0 rout in Game 2. KTH dominated the opener, 14-2.
Dave Staffie and Bob Briesceraft were both 3-for-3 in Game 1. K.C. Cowan earned the win.
Tony Holland was 3-for-3 in the nightcap and Dave Buck pitched the win.
