Daily Times: Millennium Sunday Championship Roundup: Milmont Republican Club sweeps to A Division title
Kenny Elkind belted a three-run home run for Milmont Republican Club in Game 1 of the Millennium Sunday League A Division championship Sunday. MRC captured the title by sweeping Barnaby's of Havertown, 12-2 and 14-4.
Gary Dickens also had a big day at the plate in the opener, finishing 3-for-3 with one RBI.
In the championship clincher, Joe Lincke slammed a two-RBI double and Dan Collines was 3-for-3 with three ribbies. Matt Hummel added two hits and knocked in a pair of runs.
