West Chester & Kennett Square ground crews make sure the ASA Charity Challenge gets started on time

The grounds crew at the Westtown Sports Complex in West Chester which was led by Kevin McDonald and Bob Bell and the grounds crew at the Herb Pennock Park Softball Complex in Kennett Square, spearheaded by Kevin Garris and his group of friends, including Ralph Hunter, did an outstanding job during the day on Friday getting the fields game-ready so the 2012 ASA of PA Charity Challenge Championship would get started on schedule.

I want to commend the above ASA of PA District 6 staff members and their grounds crews for doing an incredible amount of work on the fields in a short period of time and in getting them playable for the tournament.

It's the kind of organization that was exhibited yesterday that really shows why District 6 is so special and why it distinguishes itself time after time.
