WOMEN'S ASA CHARITY CLASSIC
Getting off on the right foot, always tough Appco's Sports World/Dukes Tavern gave a hint Friday night of what it may hold in store for the weekend at Father Nall Field in Ridley Township.
Chris Camac went 4-for-4 with a home run and five RBIs, Brook Berger also went 4-for-4 and Dawn Scott had three hits for the offensively minded A/D. Marissa Siegfried joined in with three hits in three trips for four RBIs.
In another first-round game:
Buck Frank Excavating 21, Bud's Cafe 2: Karen Pelkey went 4-for-4 with three RBIs and three runs scored, and Caitlin Chandler had two doubles with two runs scored and three RBIs. Pitcher Kim Mills cruised.
