1938-2015 Thomas D. "Tom" Kleber, age 77, a lifelong resident of Upland, died May 4, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Tom graduated from Neuman College and proudly served in the Air Force. Tom retired from the County of Delaware. He was a charter member of the Upland A.C. and Upland Boro Council for 8 years. For more than 40 years, he was an umpire with the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) and was the ASA of PA District 6 Commissioner from 1987-96. He was also a member of the Delco Umpire Association, the PIAA and volunteered with the Special Olympics. Tom was the son of the late John and Gertrude (Reilly) Kleber and brother of the late Jack Kleber. Survivors: his loving wife of 51 years: Kay (Diggins) Kleber; 2 daughters: Connie Gasperetti and Joanna Savercool (Eric); 2 sisters: Gertrude Rotunno and Betty Ann Kopp; 4 grandchildren: Zachary and Jessica Savercool and Danielle and Allison Gasperetti; and a dear family friend: Judy McLaughlin. Visitation: Friday from 8:30-10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home, 5980 Chichester Ave., Aston, PA. Words of remembrance/Military Detail: Friday at 10:30am at Nolan-Fidale Funeral Home.
