The stories posted on the web site and in the script for Dream A Little Dream all come with the "nearly true" lable firmly in place. To paraphrase; "Nothing happened in the nice neat way you're going to hear it. Things were muddled and mixed up but that's the way it was." One thing about this whole line of speculation that is true. Denny said "What happened that night is nobody's business."
