I hate to believe it myself, but in light of what John himself wrote about his teaching Jeffrey and Mackenzie to shoot up drugs and everything else he DID own up to having done, I didn't doubt Mackenzie's story for even a nanosecond. I agree with you, truthteller. I also admire Mackenzie for not only having the guts to come forward with a truth that does not leave her in a flattering light at all (why would someone make up this stuff?), but for urging people to separate the body of John's work from this awful, awful truth. I plan to do just that. The naysayers are trying both to protect the Mamas & Papas brand and to keep from having that negative glare cast upon them by association, but truth is truth, however much you might try to dress it up.
