Denny Doherty, one of the greatest voices of the 60's; the lead singer of The Mamas and The Papas; the member who sang lead on most of the hits; one of the first Rock stars hailing from Canada. I think that Denny's contributions to the group and to music are somewhat taken for granted. Without his voice and spirit, the group would never have succeeded. Denny certainly rates in the parthenon of the greatest singers who ever lived. Here are 12 of what I consider Denny's greatest lead vocals for The Mamas and The Papas.
