I agree with everyone, it is very tough to pick just one song by Denny as my favorite solo recording. All the songs everyone has mentioned are amazing songs and recordings by Denny. I do like the songs that Denny wrote, which was much of his first album, " Watcha Gonna Do ". I'm partial to those songs, which are more personal. As for doing a familiar song over again, Denny makes " Got A Feelin' " sound very different , 5 years after The Mamas and The Papas original. Also must say how amazing his version of " You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' " is, which is a very big feat as the original is considered one of the best records ever made. Denny's version is very atmospheric and powerful. And Denny's combining The Beatles songs " Two Of Us " and " Here Comes The Sun " is very inventive, and blends together seamlessly. Let's hear the complete Columbia recordings please sometime soon! Please release solo Denny Doherty on CD!
