Hard House is pretty popular here in San Diego due to the fact that Jon Bishop lives here and he Djs at the world famous Club Hedonism on Thursdays nights. Club Hedonism is the United State's best Hard House club and Jon is the best Hard House dj in the US. He also djs at Studio 64 at Club Montage with other Hard House Djs like Lavelle Dupree and guest. He usually does his stuff on Tidy, but he is doing a remix on Shock Records pretty soon for Jose 2 Hype. There are not a lot of Hard House labels here. Mostly just House, Trance and Drum and Bass labels. I couldn't really tell about the percentage of people here who listen to Hard House. It is a lot different than the UK. A lot of clubs here play Trance and Deep House and House is really popular at all clubs with an occasioal set of Hard House thrown in, but all Hard House nights in SD are hard(no pun int) to come by. We also get a lot of UK dj/prodcers here like The Tidy Boys, Steve Thomas, Anne Savage, Lee Haslam etc which is cool. Anyway, thanks for the comments on my mixes. Later.
