Good luck to all of you who are starting nurseries. When our Jack has started any schools, clubs or sports we have given them a double A4 sheet with a run down of his condition, including contact info and a lay mans view of what is actually likely to happen on a 'normal' day.
That usually frigtens the bejeesus of most people so we follow it up with a quick sit down to explain he isnt likely to go blue and collapse on them. Fortunately Jacks condition isnt critical, but it could be a lot more important for some CHD kids.
We have found it important to explain what care they really need, as they cant be expected to undersstand the conditions as well as we do.
