Hi Laura,

As others have said, we had the chance to speak to Mr Anderson on the morning of surgery (as well as during the 'consent' process - though it was the registrar at that point, not Mr Anderson himself). He took lots of time to explain to us what was going to happen and to answer our questions - didn't feel rushed at all.

I agree with Claire that it's a good idea to go and see PICU in advance, if you can - makes the whole thing feel a bit less daunting when you go there after surgery.

Thinking of you and Mia, and hope all goes smoothly.
