I think I'm just thinking that if we're in for longer - they say we should expect 14 days then it's a lot of jars! I'll give the ward a buzz once we get our date and find out if we'll be able to use some freezer space up! I'm also trying to work out whether to continue breastfeeding or get him onto formula before then. He loves breastfeeding and I like being able to offer him the comfort but it will be tricky post-op, in terms of nil by mouth, expressing, being in PICU, his comfort being lifted with drains etc.etc.! Also, as we're now in 'build up' mode, maybe it's the right time to get him onto some denser milk. I'm going to chat to his dietician next week and see what he says. Still got a load of frozen milk in the freezer, so we've still got to get through that!!! Not sure if I misunderstood the end of your message, but we are home at the moment. We stayed in for a week after the ileostomy. It's nice to be back home. I'm on a 'sort out the house' binge - garden needs clearing, turf laying so that we can actually use the little garden we have here, rather than just stare at it wistfully from the kitchen doors!
