I was wondering how Patrick was getting on, so good to hear from you. How are things? I know what you mean about the 'different kind of sweaty' because in fact,clammy is probably a good way to describe it. It's hard to separate out the weather factor, although if the forecast is to be believed, we're heading for heavy rain on Thurs/Fri so if the temp cools, it will be interesting to see if there's a noticeable difference. Re. the clubbing - nobody in my family has it, so it's definitely not the primary genetic version. I read that it's associated with Fallots - something to do with the body's vasodilators reacting to the patchy blood supply by over acting and pooling blood in the distal digits of toes/fingers. It's quite a common sign though and can also be associated with other medical conditions. The site I was reading up on, said that it can improve post-surgery, so I was just wondering if Leo will look less like a tropical tree frog afterwards! I joke with my husband, that if we come into our bedroom one night and the cot's empty, we should check the ceiling, because Leo will be up there, sucked on and grinning down at us! Would be lovely to get a little update on Patrick, please?
